City in talks for Sevilla striker Puerta

Manchester City are on the verge of signing Sevilla striker Antonio Puerta. City boss Stuart Pearce had scouts tracking Puerta last season and is now ready to offer £3.5 million for the youngster. Marca says negotiations are at an advanced stage and a deal is close to being struck.
