Ronaldo Probably Finished, But Damn He Was Good

The sad sad news today is that Ronaldo may be finished. Just when it looked as if the Brazilian legend was getting it together at Milan, he jumped to meet a cross while playing against Livorno last night and completely severed the tendon in his left knee . It’s not 100% definitely the end, but it’s 99% or more. Ronaldo has suffered similar injuries twice to his right knee already and it requires surgery and about a year on the treatment table. With all the other niggling little problems it’s very likely we’ve seen the last of Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima. Though the last few years have been all about Ronaldo’s weight and Ronaldo’s injuries, it’s much better to remember the man as he was in his prime.
